“ Ordered the sampler, 1/3 lb extra brisket, potato salad, cucumber salad, and extra pickles to go for 3 people (and ended up with a few leftovers). Everything tasted great across the board! Enjoyed the dry rub on the brisket and turkey. Had a little sauce with the brisket and pulled pork, but mostly ate the brisket with just pickes. Ribs fell off the bone. While we didn't dine in, service was friendly! You order from the trailer outside. ”
“ Had a wonderful lunch here! The brisket, pulled pork, and smoke mac and cheese were out of this world. Probably the best brisket I’ve ever had. The folks were very friendly and I like the fact that they honor our military. Can’t wait to come back. Great place! ”
“ The food's a little pricey, but it's really good, and the folks working here were great. The brisket was beyond tender. The mac and cheese was awesome ”
“ Absolutely exceptional! This place is a GEM! Worth the 5 minute drive out of town. I've never had anything here that isn't first class. Each bite is a flavor explosion. Both the flat and point are moist, juicy, and perfectly fall-apart. The (jalapeno pepper jack) sausage was a surprising highlight for us. Rich, smooth, and almost with a hint of truffle, the sausage is a must-order item! We also had the pork belly special which was excellent. There is no way to order the wrong thing here! So, so, so good! Easily the best BBQ in BCS!!! ”
“ Always my go to picnic board to pick up on trips to Aggieland with my sons. The whole spread with the bread, sauce, jalapenos, onions and pickles works out perfectly. The brisket is top notch and the turkey is as good as any turkey I’ve had. Nice sides as well with the Mac and cheese and corn casserole being our favorite. Highly recommended and always come for the brisket, ribs, sausage, pork, and turkey. ”
“ Found this place because of the other positive reviews and I have to say, I fully agree with the ratings. Excellent food overall. Brisket was moist and tender, their sauce and sides were very good as well. Semi permanent location as the food actually comes out of the trailer on the side of the building but they do have seats inside and outside on the deck. I highly recommend coming down from the university to this place, it's with the 10 minute drive. ”
“ I was visiting College Station and stopped by 1775. I did some google searching for barbecue in CS and there are not very many places that aren't just chain brands or have closed within the last few years besides 1775. Food: A brisket sandwich (1/2 pound of brisket) - it was either 17.50 or 18.50 1/3 pound of pulled pork - was 11 or 12 dollars 4 cups of barbecue sauce - free (Pricey yes, but seems to be the norm at most BBQ places according to my research.) I am not from Texas and this is my first time having Texas BBQ. I don't have any other places to compare it to, but I did enjoy what I had. Neither of the two meats was dry, and it tasted good with their barbecue sauce. The brisket was thick and had a peppery bark. Service: There was no line (came at about 1.30pm on friday), and I got my food quickly. Staff was friendly and greeted everyone coming. atmosphere: They have an indoor area for you to sit. I don't remember if there was exterior seating but the area outside is green and quiet (not surrounded by buildings) ”
“ I’ve always said killens bbq is my favorite, but this place sure gave it a run for its money. Everyone who works here is so kind and makes you feel at home. I went with the brisket and ribs with some mac and cheese and it was amazing. Great seasoning. Perfectly cooked. Creamy Mac and cheese. Could not recommend this place more - I’ll be back!! ”
